2011 Mondeo 2.0 VIN check

Featured Replies

Bought a 2011 Mondeo Mk.4  2.0 Diesel but log book shows 1.8 which is what i thought it was when i bought it. Not sure what HP this engine is though. How can i find out from VIN number. Found VIN checker online but only gives basic data on the car. Cheers

This site is pretty good - just scroll past all the ads etc.

Thanks very much TomsFocus. So it is a 140PS engine....better than the 1.8 version 😀

The 1.8 TDCi is easy to identify because it sounds like an 80’s diesel Transit 🙈 (unlike the 2.0 TDCi, which is much more refined)
