There's a bit of a dent in the tailgate on my Mondeo from where it was reversed into a pole.  😬   The lip is bent and the paint cracked.

I've found a matching tailgate at a breakers, but it's collection only.   Will a tailgate for the Mondeo fit in the boot of a mondeo?!

It's a 57 plate hatchback.

    Ask the breakers if they can do a deal where their workers fit the old one and you leave the damaged one there.
