2016 Mondeo 2l TDCI - Flywheel back order?!!

It seems my flywheel is starting to make a knocking noise and I can sometimes feel vibrations through the clutch pedal. This happens intermittently. I have enquired for some prices about how much this would cost and the two garages I asked have both said their suppliers informed them this is on back order until at least the end of December. Has anybody else had a problem with this part or any advice on where I could source this part?
