Rear strip light

Hi guys..need some help..the rear strip light on our edge has a lot of condensation build up inside.is this a common fault and does anyone know a way to clear it or is it a replacement job..thanks in advance

It's a very common problem. I'm not sure why he would need to post a pic as most of us know what it looks like.

Sorry to have caused you so much distress, I'm sure !! 🙄

As it actually happens I personally have not seen the problem with the condensation in the rear lights of the UK Edge.

Not to worry I have found a picture of an American Edge with condensation in the light fitting. Perhaps the OP (if they return) could confirm the attached photo to be representative of their problem.

Pretty common, but it does depend on the severity and amount of moisture. Even the EDGE Owners Manual states that the light clusters WILL form condensation in them and it does clear up over time. When there is enough to home a goldfish or two, then you might just have a case for Ford to look at it!
