Winscreen Wipers Stick

Featured Replies

Hi I wonder if anyone can help.

I have a Fiesta Zetec 02 plate and having a problem with the rear windscreen wiper.

When I use the rear windscreen wiper it gets stuck at the top of the turn and wont move back down again (does when pushed). Is this something I can fix, or do I need a trip to the garage?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Footy

How good are you at DIY?

If you are quite good, there is a switch inside the wiper motor mechanism operated by a cam with a slot in, it sounds like this swich is going open circuit at the wrong time(it should go open circuit at the end of the sweep) parking position.
