Stop Start Voltage Stabilizer error but where is the unit?

Featured Replies

Hi

I have two amber lights on, one being the stop start light and the other being the warning triangle.  Just got back from a garage where they checked the error code for me which is B1082-18:OF, with the following error  Start-Stop Voltage Stabilizer.

The garage has checked the battery and charging of the battery when the car is running, and all is fine.  The assumption is that we need to replace the start stop voltage stabilizer but we have no idea where is located and I am struggling to find anything about it via google.  Looks like you can buy a replacement e.g. this link but doesn't help if I have no idea where it could be located.

Hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.
