iv tried every method suggested to reset the bms after replacing my cars battery.  rear fogs x5  hazards x3  main beam x5 brake pedal x3  and anyother variation of this i can think of  .all done within 10 secs  which is a task in its self.  has anyone any other suggestions and if i cant do it     does it matter really.

There are only 3 possible methods to reset the BMS.

  • Drivers door must be closed.
  • You must be sat in the drivers seat
  • Fasten seat belt (not applicable to all models) before you begin.

You should use method 2 of the videos posted below, but i will post both of them. The third method is just to use FORScan and reset the BMS.
