I just picked up a mk2 ka the car ran fine for two days then it started to struggle to start when I got it running it kept juddering and cutting out now it won’t start at all I removed the air filter box and the butterfly was covered in oil and the small breather pipe was split any help on why it might not be starting

    The main problem with MK2 KA is that it is a Fiat 500 1.2cc, the only Ford parts are the panels, glass, lights and driver's airbag, everything else is Fiat 500.

    Try on some Fiat 500 Forums to see if people have had the same issue.

    It sounds to me though that it's been very badly maintained

    Best thing to do is get a diagnostic scanner plugged in to diagnostic port and see if it logs any fault codes, that will give you a idea where to start looking.
