After my car cut out last week the battery was drained now the.anti theft warning light is on and no mater what I try I can’t get it off so the car won’t start because of the so I can try and source the original issue any help with ideas thanks

    Not yet I was having issues with my car and the battery drained trying to start the car then this light came on I am going to fit a new battery

    Still no joy after fitting a new battery I have tried the key in the driver door right for 60 sec then left for 60 seconds but the light isn’t going off is there anything else I can try thanks

    Is this the last of the pure Ford Ka 2009 model, or is it the first of the Ford/Fiat 2009 model ?

    If you are unsure then post a photo so we can see which model it is. Depending on that it makes a big difference to fault finding.

    Yes it's the Fiat version, which sadly means the Ford diagnostic software FORScan won't work on it. You need what ever it is that Fiat owners use. I'm sure someone here will be able to advise on software.
