Hi.

I want to fit a Sony DAB radio to a 2008 Mondeo Titanium X estate.

I have a Mondeo 2009 Titanium donor car I`m scrapping which has what I need.

So I`ve got my self in a right pickle thinking this would be a straight swap.

Radio and BT module are out of the donor car, but I`m being told from another forum that I need a module located behind the glove compartment which I cant find, but honestly do not know what I`m looking for.

I`m sure I read in one forum, that some Sony radios do not need this module, and its built in.

I have not taken the dash out of my "new" car yet, so do not know if there are 2 antenna wires to go into the  back of the radio I want to fit.

If I find this module, or even if I need it, can I run a wire to the roof arial?

You should only need the DAB antennae (from the donor car)

I think both 2008/2009 Mondeo use the heated rear window to receive the DAB signal. If you remove the trim panel at the top of the tailgate you should find two aerial amplifier/isolator units fitted. They will be different on the car with DAB, so just swap them over to the other car.
