Can anyone please tell me what year and/or marque the retractable parcel shelf on the Mondeo Estate changed from 130.5cm to 118.5cm wide? 

Going by the year, I think my 2011 model is Mk4 but all the eBay/Gumtree adverts for Mk4 retractable shelves are 130.5cm, and mine is only 118.5!

It will be a Mk4.  However the facelift (aka 4.5) was released in late 2010.  So yours could be either, depending on build date, not reg date.

Parts catalogue gives several options for rear shelves but doesn't give any dimension specifics.  Looks like there was a change with different part numbers from late 2010 which would coincide with the facelifting.

The retractable cover was the same size for all "standard" Mondeo's from 2007 to 2014 according to the Ford parts list. There was the option of different colours but the size remained the same.

Has your car got the rear mounted optional CD/Video entertainment system fitted in the luggage compartment ?

There are two different part numbers for an ebony cover...I can't see any difference in the labels except the build date. 🤔

Thank you to everyone who has helped. I've finally found the correct fitting cover, which means my Mondeo estate is part of the 'facelift brigade' in later 2011, and needs the narrower version. More 118cm than 130 as on the Mk4 models. What else changed in that year? No doubt I'll find out in the coming years!
