Android Auto/Apple Play Car Stereo

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm after some assistance please, I have a 2008 Ford Mondeo Titanium X model and I'm unsure what type of stereo I would need to fit my car. At present, my current one that came fitted with the car no longer works with Hands free regardless of mobiles being used and connected, I even replaced with another of the same model and it's the same. One of the 6 CD bays no longer work so I want to be able to use my mobile for music and hands free. Are there any out there that is the right size, not too expensive and will fit with the cable connections to work?

Any advice please and thanks.

Sounds like the stereo is not the problem in that case.  The Bluetooth module is likely to be faulty instead.

Is it easy to replace do you know?

Yes, just need to remove the glovebox.

That's good to know, thanks for that. I might still be interested in replacing the stereo which enables me to use music off my mobile and Android Auto. Any suggestions at all? Also if I did replace it, guessing it's good to replace the Bluetooth Module as well?

I don't have any experience with aftermarket units I'm afraid.  Most will come with Bluetooth built in though, no need for a separate module.
