Ford mondeo vignale 2018

Featured Replies

Evening guys. I’ve had an issue for a couple of months now which has been getting worse. The car is booked in tomorrow with ford for them to locate the issue. I seem to be getting water coming in from the door area into the cabin. It seems to getting worse if I drive aggressively and after rain has stopped. Possibly water is being held and then releasing when I drive aggressively. Has anyone ever suffered anything like this on the new mondeo? I don’t believe it’s the heater as I would have coolant and this definitely seem to be rain water. Any idea would be massively helpful to ensure I don’t get screwed by ford. Attached is a picture showing where the water comes from.. it seems to be coming from the welding paste area

Ford's labour costs will kill you on this issue.

You could find this yourself, just get someone to hold a hose pipe around all the joints while you lie inside and look and see where it comes in.

I'd remove the door casing, the upper A-Post trims and glovebox too.

My money's on the windscreen seal has gone
