transmission fluid pan gasket leak

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 2018 ford edge with MPS6/6DCT450 powershift gearbox, and a few months ago noticed a oil leak coming from bottom of the fluid pan, ordered a new gasket from Ford and replaced and the leak stopped for 2 weeks, but have now noticed oil coming back out from the bottom of the pan. I torqued the bolts to the recommended 12nm,and could see no visible damage to the fluid pan. I don't know if i should now order a whole new fluid pan with new gaskets or if anyone has any ideas how to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated

Another new gasket with some sealer, both sides, next time
