Ford Kuga 2.0TDI Diesel 65 plate Automatic Stinking of fuel

Featured Replies

Hi wonder if anyone can help.

Got a Ford Kuga 2.0TDI 65 plate diesel Automatic. Stated working from home 18 months ago so it only has a good run now once a week. We have had problems with it regenning. Kept getting engine management light up. Changed the vapouriser with genuine ford Part and seemed to solve for a few months .

Now we've got the stink of diesel fumes coming through the vents. Was advised from someone else could be the vapouriser but at only 2/3 months since we changed it at over £230 for the part only surely it cant be that.? Have no engine management warning up . It stinks and I am concerned to drive it

Any ideas what to check for . Exhaust system is OK.
