Trying to work forscan for the first time but not having much luck. Hscan reads fine but when it promises for mscan it doesn't seem to return anything. Going into the modules afterwards also shows hscan only. Using tunnelrat elm327 usb.. forscan Windows mk4 mondeo (14)... any ideas anyone?Screenshot_20231208_181554_Gallery.thumb.jpg.052c57feddc53a11e4b86eb2cd403986.jpg

    has it got a switch on the ELM ? forscan once connected should tell you the switch position

    Used to be the cable to have but now on vehicles 2013 and onwards you really should be using the vLinker FS which is both faster and is fully auto switching between the MS and HS canbus systems.

    Yeah it has the switch but when I change it it doesn't manage to find anything new, just the hscan from before changing the switch. I may see if I can return it and buy something different then (although it appears to work fine with hscan).
