Loose hose

Featured Replies

Hi all. Recently had some work done on my mk5 Mondeo and today I noticed this hose to the right of the engine. Can't remember it being there before, that's not too say it wasn't though. Is it supposed to be attached at this end, and if so where to. Many thanks in advance. Paul

Hi there. Thanks for the reply. It disappears towards the bottom of the engine. Could be going towards the gearbox. Does this end need to be attached somewhere? Thanks.

No, that is fitted correctly, it does just clip to that coolant hose with the top left to hang freely.  The overturned end is designed to prevent anything accidentally splashing into it.

Thank you for the replies. I'm glad it's supposed to be that way. Many thanks.
