Issue and introduction

Good evening all. My names ryan from devon, im now on my 5th fiesta order as follows: 2006 mk6 zetec s tdci - 2010 mk7 zetec s - 2013 ST180- mk6 tdci zetec s and now on a Mk7 tdci econetic titanium.

i seem to be having an issue with the cooling fan on the mk7  econetic. I have bridged the connection from the battery to the fan and the fan runs. However when i turn the aircon on with the car running the fan dosent spin. And i dont want to risk the car getting hot and the high speed fan not working either. I have checked the fuses and relays under the bonnet and they seem fine. But no voltage at the fan plug or the resistor plug at the bottom of the fan. I had a couple other issues like the water in the spare wheel compartment which this group helped me massively. Im really struggling with this and have no idea where to try next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

Hi welcome

Hi Ryan and welcome to the forum. I suggest you ask your questions in the Fiesta section. You'll get a better response there. From what you've said it could be a break in a wire between the fan and a relay. If it works directly from the battery then I'd be checking the wiring.
