is it a ford headunit or another brand?

i cant remember exactly as its been a while since ive done this but there are two wires which power the stereo, one that gives power when the car is off, to keep settings and power the radio if the engines not switched on etc and one to power the radio when the ignition is on or the car is running, i believe they are red and yellow (not sure though so check) but its possible that one of these feeds is not working correctly, I know that with some cars its nessesary to swap these two wires around when fitting an aftermarket stereo so that it powers off correctly. hope some of this helps sorry i cannot remember more
