Hi There

I have changed my thermostat today and have forgotten which hose goes to the right and left of the heater valve inlet? We have had issues with cold air in the cabin and the temp sensor light coming on??

    At the thermostat housing end, there is an excellent diagram in the Haynes Manual (Section 3B.6 ) which shows connections very clearly. At the HCV end, if you are standing at the front of the car looking at the HCV, it’s cold return to engine on the left and hot supply to cabin on the right.

    The top left hose goes to expansion tank, the middle top hose goes to heater return and the top right hose goes to heater supply.

    Thank you - turns the issue with car is a failed water pump - getting the new one back in and getting the belt on is going to be fun!
