    Is this for a Ka with the trim level Edge?  There is a Ford SUV called Edge which this section is meant for.

    That age Ka is virtually identical to the Fiat 500 so may be worth checking their forums for a similar fault.

    It sounds like it might just be low battery voltage though.  Would try jump starting it myself.
