2010 Mondeo 2.0 diesel Cutting Out

My 2010 Mondeo Diesel is cutting-out when running. Will  always reatart (but sometimes it needs after winding for few seconds.) The cutting-out has  become very frequent. New Crank sensor installed but no improvement.

    When was the diesel fuel filter last changed ?

    Mine was doin same . I have a 2018 . I ended up changing high pressure pump and then injectors . Problem solved. Expensive . Hope this helps
