Featured Replies

Hi has anybody had this problem with there titanium x 2010 plate it is a intermittent problem with my front wipers as occasionally they stay on even if you turn them them off but if you hit the fuse box they go off it has been to fords and they couldn't find anything wrong with it as it never happened while they had and it cost me £160 for a diagnostic. Was just wondering has any body had this problem

The "fusebox" is actually the GEM or as it is known on later models the BCM. It is a mini computer and it controls things like the wipers, the low beam headlights, interior lights, reverse lights, etc etc. They are prone to water ingress which causes the control circuits to malfunction. Problems with wipers, screenwash pump, and headlights is common.
