Uh-oh!🙄

After a disastrous Mondeo MK3 tdci I swore I'd never have another Ford again.

But in need of a set of wheels and having almost no money, I came across a Mondeo MK4 tdci. Having searched all week for some sort of banger and been messed around no end, I was so fed up I just took it.  In the dark. At 10:30pm. So what did I get?

It's a 2012.

It's done...366000 miles.🫣

It has 12 months MOT.

I'm the daylight, it doesn't look terrible and should polish up ok. 

It drove quite well, with no apparent clutch or gearbox issues.

The interior was execrable and stinks of weed. (There will of course be weed consumers on this forum, personal choice guys, no judging, just not my thing.) I've spent all afternoon scrubbing the interior but it may need a shampoo at a valeters.

It was £690. Now there would have been a time when you would have been locked up for paying that for such a car, but these are crazy times. People want £1000 for cars with blown engines. And someone just gave me £400 for my last car which had a broken gearbox. Whatever...

Issues? A few, but I'll post them in the appropriate part of the forum.

So there we have it. Man vows never to have a Ford, then buys a Ford. I never learn...
