Headlights pointing down

Featured Replies

So as title says headlights on my Mondeo are pointing down, I thought the leveling sensor would be all stiff but it did not seem to be that bad (apart from left/right angling)

Would anyone know how to investigate this? Like test the sensor for electrical failure etc, before I spend money either on new sensor or mechanic?

Thanks in advance

Use FORScan and a vLinker FS cable to plug in to the OBDII port and see if there are any error codes relating to the headlight leveling.

Thanks a lot. Will report next week as soon as I have received the cable.

I have received more errors than expected🥲:

B1A58:87-2F Right headlamp, headlamp range control motor

B1C98:13-6C Circuit of left cornering light, open circuit

B1C99:11-68 Circuit of right cornering light, short to ground

B1C99:13-6C Circuit of right cornering light, open circuit

It turned out ther was some water in the right headlight, so I took it of and trying to dry it.

Could i get some advice on how to deal with this?

Where is cornering light located?
