New front coils spring fitted now clunking

Hi guys recently broke front coil spring (lovely pothole!!) Had it replaced along with strut top mount + drop link..now when driving over little bumps i hear a rather nasty "clunking" noise doing my head in.can any one have sound advice apart from going to back to garage.which it is but i want to throw some facts at the guy who "fixed it!" Many thanks in advance 😉

    Could be anything, we'd all be guessing without seeing it. Maybe they didn't tighten up a nut on the drop link or maybe the top mount wasn't lined up properly (though doubt this would cause clunking on small bumps), maybe something else has failed.

    It is clunking most of the time i think the strut top is not lined up.i shall find out tomorrow as the car is booked back in to garage thank you for the reply
