Hi all,

i'm new on here and would like some advise. i own a fiesta zetec climate 2007 1.25, yesterday stopped at a roundabout, started setting off as per in 1st gear... started turing the steering wheel and it was STIFF AS!! It also whines just like when u do a full lock, though it only happens up to 20mph or so then the steering is fine...... with whining on the odd occasion after that and it doesnt happen every time i set off either.

Ive checked to see if theres enough fluid for the power steering and its not far off brimming :S Could it be the steering rack?? Im not an expert atall on cars but i need this fixing FAST! supposed to be selling it in a week :)

Any advise would be appreciated!!!
