Hi all.. I've just checked on the dvla website and it looks as though my mk1 Mexico is still alive after all these years ! I'd love to see some current pictures of it and get in touch with the owner.  I bought it for £350 back in 1988 ish.. laughable now ! TOL21N in Olympic blue with rs2000 decals in white with a black vinyl roof.

    Sorry to disappoint you but it's almost certainly scrap.

    The DVLA website only shows the last known status of a vehicle. If no one ever sends in the V5c saying it has been scrapped then the site will just assume it is still about. You could be lucky since the last update of the V5c was January 2019
