2010 TDCI very high clutch biting point

Featured Replies

So, I had a problem with getting into reverse with a 2010 Mondeo, 76K miles. Clutch pedal is very high to get biting point so, I thought the option here was to replace the clutch and flywheel. I also have a little "ride", may and inch or so when putting clutch down before I start to feel any resistance.

After getting these changed, no more problem with getting into reverse, however, I was expecting the biting point to be much lower, however the "ride" inch is still there and the biting point is still quite high.

Is this normal? Is there a way to adjust this? It's a TDCI 2010, 163BHP model. The "ride" inch issue has always been there, but I don't recall the high biting point was always that high, although had the car for about 8 years, so it may have been.

Any advice/suggestions/info welcome.
Thx
