Help with mondeo mk7 front wipers

Hi. 
I have been looking at a strange issue with my farther in laws mondeo.

 

His front wipers just stopped working everything else on the car is fine and the washers do work. 
have checked all fuses. 
swapped the relays with the back wiper and that both work but don’t click when in the front. 
new wiper motor 
new wiper stalk

there is 12v on one of the pins of the motor (assuming the return home position) and the earth has continuity with the body. 
 

I have also removed the back and there are no obvious signs of any damaged/blown components and no corrosion on any pins. 
 

im at a bit of a loss and all I can think is it’s either a broken cable, poor earth or the BCM. 
 

what would you try next? Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

    Sorry I don't have anything for a 2010 Mondeo. The best I can offer is a 2014 Mondeo, which will be similar but wire colours / numbers will be different.

    Possibly this wiring diagram? Compare fusebox layout and fuse numbering with what you have.
