Hi everyone I ma new to this group and ai have a problem, my car cut out and it won't start or even turn over, I think it's the immobilizer.

Has anyone had this before and is there a way around it yo get it going again or is it even possible to get it sorted?

I am afraid you will need to supply quite a lot more info before anyone can help! Engine type, Mk1 or Mk2 (I think 2004 can be either), lights on the dash, especially the immobiliser LED- these flash out a code if there is an immobiliser problem. Any clicks or noises from under the bonnet when trying to start.

 Ideally you need to have a diagnostic system capable of scanning the car for DTCs, these often give clues about where faults lie.

I've held a seance with Mystic Meg, but she's adamant that she needs to have the DTC's 🤣
