TPMS out of calibration

Featured Replies

HI

Have Kuga 2022

19inch wheels and got a flat tyre

so popped to kwik fit and had a new tyre fitted

but then we noticed that the TPMS had the correct pressure for the front wheels but was about 7 PSI low on both rear wheels

does anyone know how to recalibrate the TPMS for the rear wheels

From what I gather that you're saying:

Check and adjust the tyre pressures

Then reset tyre pressures in the cluster

Tried that

back wheels still both say 36psi when they have 43psi in them

the front ones are reading correct

its as if they need recalibrating

No way of recalibrating , it's just what the sensors think is the actual pressure. 2 new sensors required if there not accurate.

You could ask your dealer to change them under warranty if you can show the difference.
