Rear door control module

Featured Replies

I belive my rear door control module has failed, no power to rear driver window and locked shut cant open it at all. Ive managed to get door card off and removed the module.

Checking ebay the ones ive seen all start with a 9 product code, mine starts with a 7 are they interchangeable. My car is prefacelift 2008 mondeo 5 door hatch 2.0tdci

Pull interior door handle i can the lock working, its just locked shut just wont unlock or even open with either handle and window switch not working. Ive done the usual checked fuses and disconect battery nothing has worked im hoping its this module.

7G9T 14B534 BE is the part number make sure the replacement is the same full part number, except for the last letter "E" that can be higher

Just double check you have power going to the door first, before you buy a new module, you could have a broken wire

If you want to confirm that it is the module that has failed, then borrow the one from the passenger side rear door and swap them both over. Does the fault then transfer to the passenger door ?

Thank you for the replys, when i got more time i might try switching over to confirm fault and then pop down to scrap yard for replacment failing that the tip for the part number is helpful when i check ebay again.

Yes, from the part number it looks like the same module is on both rear doors, some cars have a different module for left and right
