Sorry posted in wrong section earlier. 
I’m looking for help remove my old switch on my focus mk4.  Any help would be appreciated do I need to remove the full handle. 

Well not gone well tried pulling it out from under handle and the unit split in half.  Left with the rocker button still in and half the unit.  Need help.  Anybody out there replaced there window switch on a mk4 focus 

This is for the Fiesta Mk8 but I expect the Focus will be similar.

Thanks pal. But that’s 3.5. Different switches/ handles.  
 

Any other ideas chaps . Somebody must have replaced passenger window switch because it had cracked or broken 

 

Full door casing off

Got round with out taking full door casing off.  Pain but got the switch out and replaced with brand new one from fords.  Thanks for the advice guys. 

Hi, is this the window control panel that you replaced?

my drivers side switches stopped working this morning, but have since started working again. it's been a bit dodgy in the past, but this is the first time it stopped working completely. can you buy the entire panels new from ford? i can't see them on the website. i'll maybe give them an email. hoping this doesn't give me anymore bother but might as well do some homework on it now ☺️

They can be bought from Ford though the public parts catalogues don't cover the latest models to get a part number.  This is a similar switch pack just for reference.

Yes they only cost one leg and an arm at the moment but expect that to increase to two legs and an arm 🤣

Personally I doubt very much that the switch pack will be at fault. It could possibly be the Drivers Door Module (DDM) or a broken or loose connection between the door and the 'A' post.

I would check with FORScan and see if it gives any clue as to open-circuit problems.

i think you're right, could be a loose connection or similar. 

i emailed the online shop and they gave me the part number but yeah, they are out of stock 🙃. i'll put here for reference.

Yes easy to install, and quite easy to use. Just be aware that the phone versions can NOT do any programming changes. They can read all the DTC'c and reset service indicators like 'Oil Change' and of course clear all DTC's just like the laptop version.

Any tips on how you got yours out? I've got a broken switch and managed to get a new one from a breakers yard to replace but am worried about trying to force the handle and causing more damage.

This is the FOCUS forum. Your profile says you have a 2025 Puma, so a bit confused. Your Ford warranty should start on the 1st January 2025 😉
