Dipstikks PHEV KUGA
Well, tomorrow will be 7 weeks since my new to me, by one week, all singing and dancing 2020 Kuga ST-Line X PHEV went into my main dealer for a software update to stop the vehicle from driving if the engine had a major failure (in the trade we call it having a leg out of bed), the idea of the software was to stop the vehicle from continuing to drive on the battery, well to say it didn’t work is a slight understatement it’s rendered my motor undriveable and it doesn’t look like Ford have a clue on how to fix it, or is 7 weeks being a bit to optimistic. I can honestly say my dealer has been golden and has owned the problem from day one and I do have a courtesy KUGA to smoke around in for the foreseeable, but I would really like to get my own motor back, so if there is a Ford software engineer on here that could possible enlighten me as to why it is taking so long to sort out the problem, please comment, don’t be shy.
