Parking sensors.

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have two error codes on my 2010 mondeo titanium x 2.2. The parking sensors don’t work.. I get the sound when I put it in reverse then it flashes on the dash and stops. I’ve plugged in on for scan to begin with I had 4 codes come up on Pam which I managed to clear 2 of them by switching the inner 2 sensors and swapping them back and the codes not come back not sure why but I’m not complaining now aha. But I still have two codes left.

I’ve looked at the wires at the fron where the sensors are they seem fine. Could it be the module under the headlamp? Or the main module in the boot?

cheers!

Hi,
I have the same problem and looked around for a fuse that doesn't seem to exist.
It's supposed to be in the rear left side of the both but there is no fuse for it there.
Should be a third box of fuses but its only two.
Changed the Control Module on the rear right side and the sensor that come up as faulty in the scan.
I also repaired a dodgy bit of wire but its still not working.
Any ideas someone?

That would be the "beeping" fuse 🤣

Maybe abit late but i checked the whole circuit from the pcm box all the way to the front sensors. Check the rear aswell whilst i was at it with my multi metre and i found that the front passenger sensor wasnt getting any power. I bought one from amazon for a tenner and bang all working now. Hope this helps somebody in the future. Best thing and quickest is just buy a new one and take them off one by one and it should sort the problem.
