Not the problem yet, but annoying...

Sometimes when I drive and starting to slow down. My gearbox making pritty hard hit form 3 to 2 gear. Sometimes everything goes smoothly. Maybe somebody got this problem and know the solution ?

Change the fluid if it hasn't been done

This is my also first idea what should be done. I have car only about 1 months, so not sure what is done before.

Maybe there is simple video how to do it by myself ? 😄

Drain is at the bottom, fill is at the top

There should be videos if you search by the AISIN part number

You may have a combined drain/level check, so you will need two sockets

Get transmission warm

Drain

replace what came out

Get transmission warm, check and top up

If it's still quite dirty, run for another 500 miles then drain and refill again

Hi Lukas, welcome to the forum!  I don't know your gearbox, but before draining it of oil, just make sure that you can undo the filler plug. Also, it may have a gearbox mount underneath at the rear of the box, you'll have to crawl underneath to check... just make sure that the rubber bush in it is OK, and the bolts are tight. 

Thank you guys, looks like not difficult job. I have done it before on my BMW. I was just curious maybe I need to take off box carter to replace so gaskets or something like that.

Just found that I need 7 liters transmission fluid, garage and some time to do the job 😄

7 litres may be for dry fill, you probably won't get half of that out as it stays in the cooler system and the torque converter.

Do I have to fill up until the oil starts to run over the top ?

I would recommend measuring what came out and putting the exact amount back in.

Then drive the car to get it to go through all the gears and warm

Then check and top up.

Yes, when checking level you would fill until it overflows, or drain form check until it stops
