CarPlay not working via usb

Featured Replies

Hi all,

2017 Ford Kuga

Hoping someone can help or know of a solution for this.

CarPlay has stopped working, I have tried different phones, different usb wires, replaced the usb hub, disconnected the battery for an hour and completed a master reset but still nothing.

The micro usb lead going to the usb hub has power (blue lights come on and an old satnav powered on when plugged directly into it)

I can connect via Bluetooth but that only has the audio options when I need Google maps and apps

Any ideas other than going to my local ford garage ?

Thanks in advance .

Carplay will only work with, it seems to me, a very few apps on my phone. I downloaded ‘Waze’ and this worked, just to prove to myself the same question.

Hi, it doesn’t matter what phone I use nothing connects to CarPlay and it won’t charge anything that’s plugged in including the latest update on a usb.
