m1.5k 1.5 tdci durotec engine i'm new to the group so apologise if this has been covered before. i have an intermittent fault of loosing power and going into limp mode but if i stop and restart the engine i have full power again. i have done a scan with forscan and the fault code of P2563 turbocharger boost pressure sensor..

i would like some knowledgeable person to tell me but better still a picture of where the sensor is situated and any other possible causes as what may cause this fault. as i presume that it just needs a clean or replacing.

many thanks for your help keith

This sensor is located at the very end of the turbo actuator.  It measures the actuator movement.  Can't really be cleaned, but easy to replace.  This fault codes can be caused by other turbo issues so not always the sensor at fault.
