Issues after clutch change

Featured Replies

Hi, I’m new here and just seeing if anyone has had anything similar. I’ve got a 2013 focus estate 1.6 diesel.

ive just had the clutch, dual mass flywheel and gearbox changed and now on start up in makes a deep low frequent rattle and also when turning off the engine. I’ve only taken it on a couple of short journeys but now found there is clutch fluid on the ground so I’m leaving it till the mechanic comes back but any ideas what the issue might be?

probably a leak of hydraulic fluid 🤔

Call back and update us all when you find out the problem.

My guess is gearbox fluid rather than clutch fluid.
