My Edge has been due a service for a few months now including the gearbox oil so got a quote from local Ford dealer that I used in the past, answer was £1,100! Sorta understandable given the labour costs these days but still very exspensive!

After a bit of googling and youtube watching I decided to give it all a go myself. I've copied the below links with the possibility of helping anybody else that would consider doing it themselves as the total cost with all original/branded parts came out to around £380 (bearing in mind I already had the tools/jack etc). A great saving for what was 5 hours work changing the Engine Oil & Filter, Gearbox Oil & Filter, Air Filter, Fuel Filter and Cabin Filter.

All went to plan fortunately. I've done a few bits and pieces on my and my wifes car over the years but have no specific experience and really happy with how it went. Hopefully inspires somebody else to give it a go if you're not worried about the stamp in the logbook. I just keep all the receipts for the parts. Here's the videos I used...
