Retro fitting driver assistant pack

Featured Replies

Hi to one an all

Thanks for allowing me to join this site. Just Acquired 2017 titanium edition Mondeo. I wonder if anyone could advise on being able to retro fit the driver assistance package. The car has parking sensors front and back, speed recognition. Would the car have all the required wiring to be able to plug in what would be required for the driver pack ?

Any help and advice would be appreciated to a novice owner.

Cheers

Separate systems. Speed recognition is just a display using GPS data from the sat nav

No

A lot of extra wiring harnesses and parts (including a windscreen probably) and modules plus extensive programming using FORScan and a paid licence.

Anything is possible though.

Pop over to the FORScan forum and see if anyone with your age Mondeo has done it, I know people with MK3.5 Focus who have done it

Many thanks for the feedback. Sounds expensive. Think I’ll stick with the car as is 😉. Thanks again
