Hi all, first time posting. 

I have a 2019, 2.0 ecoblue edge. I have recently looked into having a remap. I did have it booked in to be done, but was then contacted by the tuning company stating that there was a potential for a tampering warning to come on the dash if I was to go ahead with the remap. 

Has anyone come across this issue previously.

Might just be a generic warning they tell customers. Although a little different, I know somebody who's had one of the plugin boxes for 2 years now with no warnings on the dash if that's of any help.

Possibly, yea had a tuning box on my previous edge (2017) and worked well. Tried to get it reprogrammed for the newer version but can't be done. Need to buy a newer tuning box. Also sceptical about the results as tdi tuning are saying an increase from 238 to 290 bhp, where as a remap would only take it up to 270.
