Hi.

Just wanted to mention the cost of oil and filter change has increased dramatically.

I just paid £160 at local garage and now wish I done it myself. Not an easy job on my car having to gain access via the front wheel arch to the filter. Then I sometimes struggle to get filter off and bang a screwdriver through which I hate doing. This prompted me to get an oil change with MOT which I now regret. Guess I need to invest in a decent oli filter wrench and I can now justify it..Cost of living crisis is hard to keep up with.

    For me, the thought and hassle of having to dispose of the used oil and filter and having to carefully avoid spillage on my drive,  I always now go to a Ford main dealer who still has the fast turn around business that Ford used to have  ..Rapid Fit, I think...anyway, genuine Ford/Motorcraft parts, Ford trained mechanics, and oil and filter change for around £60.  Any other Ford dealer they want to charge for a mini service. Paynes in Hinckley if you're that way.....
