Tapping noise from rear wheel arch

hi can any one shed some light on this one,for a few weeks im getting a metal on metal tapping noise coming from rear wheel arch (maybe).i have emptied the boot completely but still getting annoying tapping noise sound like a coin for example hitting on something.the car as been up on a ramp for for investigation and all perfect !! I will be removing wheel arch liner at the weekend to have a look maybe debris or something any suggestions are very wellcome HELP!!

    No mate it isnt .kind of wish it was then at least i could get it sorted. Didnt mention before but it isnt constant tapping it will stop for a couple of days and tease me lol

    Some one suggested swapping wheels over?.you mentioned strut top mounts well it has just passed mot
