Ford 22 plate Vignale Door lock cover driver side

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have a magnetic grey Vignale and the little plastic bezel that covers the keyhole on the driver side has popped off.

I ordered one from Ford   2434479 door bezel, and this turned up fine, however, it was a light grey colour, and I am being told that I have to paint it myself!!

Is this correct?

Many thanks

Richard

Yes that's correct.  Supplied in grey primer only.

Do I need to just use the PN4DQ  spray paint or would i need to re-prime first?

Doesn't need priming again, just make sure it's free from any dirt or grease using an alcohol wipe or similar.

Then it will need colour (probably 2 coats) and a clear coat of lacquer to finish.

You will need to mask off the chrome section before painting.
