The car is a Ford 2009 C Max, 1.8 Petrol. Time to time this develops an error where the RPM starts hunting rapidly and eventually will stall. I was finally able to get a scan when this happens. Please see image below.

 

Any suggestions on what could be the cause? Every time this happens if the car is restarted it will run like normal. When this issue starts to appear I can feel the vehicle is kangarooing/jumping when driving. Next time I come to stop and RPM comes to IDLE this happens.
