Fuel Door 'Spring'

Hi all....new to the forum after being a ford owner for almost 20 years. 

Never had this issue before but the car I own currently has a fuel door that won't spring open, and a door with no finger hole.

What's the easiest thing to do? 

Can I find a spring for the door (see image)?

Should I replace the door with one with a finger hole?

Been googling for springs for ages but no joy.

Thanks guys for any help.

    Just replace the door hinge/flap with one from eBay.

    You can easily transfer your red door over to the replacement unit.
