OBD error codes p3104 and p2066 help

Featured Replies

Recently my 2010 183BHP Mondeo TDCI popped up with a "engine malfunction" notice while driving. Performance seems to be ok, no lack of power etc.

I just got myself an ODBII gizmo from a neighbour using FORScan software and it says 2 errors: in the DTC log(?):

p3014: 00-02
p2066: 92-26

I've tried to look up what these mean, but don't understand. Looks like two sensor logs but it might be something else perhaps? Could the sensors be faulty or something more serious.

About a year ago I had the Clutch and Flywheel replaced by a garage, but also changed the cam belt  and fuel filter myself. The car has done circa 80k miles.

I am wondering if someone can explain what these error codes are likely to really mean and what is the solution for these are as to whether it a fix I can do or if it's something I will have to take into the garage.

TIA
Stu

In the subject I put p3104 by accident, to confirm, its p3014. Hopefully someone can advise.

Looked online, some say o2 sensor (might be clogged up). Some say manifold flaps issue.....not sure if either is right or red herrings.

Use FORScan and clear all codes. Then wait and see what if any DTC's return. Those codes could date back to when Noah was busy building his Ark 🤣

Forscan should give a brief description of specific codes.

I don't recognise either of those as common ones.
