Battery failed. Wiped radio keycode

Featured Replies

Just to keep my year going, the battery failed on my titty mk4 and it has wiped the radio code.

Unfortunately it wasn't in the paperwork provided by previous owner, so what's the cheapest way to find the code out, please?

Probably should edit to add it is 6cd stereo

Cheers.

You need to remove the CD6000 and get the serial number. (You'll need 4 x keys available on Ebay for a couple of pounds to do this). Once you have that, do a search for 'Ford radio codes' and there are sources that will give them from free, to a couple of pounds. Forum rules do not allow such info to be given out here. Once you have it, stick the code on the radio itself, no one steals these anymore, if the every did!

How to enter radio code...

4 x digits
Button 1 press multiple times for 1st digit
Button 2 press multiple times for 2nd digit
Button 3 press multiple times for 3rd digit
Button 4 press multiple times for 4th digit
Button 5 is the ‘enter’ button
